We are an audit firm in central Hamburg. For over 20 years, we have supported medium-sized businesses from Germany and abroad in audit and assurance, tax advisory, real estate and international matters. Our clients expect care, perspective and clear answers. That is why we need people who think ahead and take responsibility, while wanting more from work than being worn down every day.
We are looking for Tax Assistants / Tax Specialists (all genders) to join our team as soon as possible.
What you will do here
You will join an established team, taking on varied, client-focused work that calls for technical care and accuracy. Your main tasks will include:
- Preparing annual financial statements for corporations and partnerships
- Preparing tax balance sheets and tax returns
- Financial accounting and reporting
- Monthly payroll for clients in Germany
- Handling client enquiries
- Supporting tax and social security audits
- Contributing to tax due diligence reviews
- Communicating with health insurance funds, public authorities and tax offices
What you will bring
You do not need to make a big impression. You do need to work reliably, apply sound technical judgement and enjoy being part of a team.
You will fit in well if you:
- Bring professional experience in the areas listed above
- Enjoy working on challenging engagements
- Are interested in an international environment
- Want to make a real difference for clients, beyond simply processing their work
- Can also communicate in English
- Work well with colleagues and take ownership of your responsibilities
